LA Design Inc., operating as LA Architects & Partners (“LA Design”, “we”, “us”), is an Ontario architectural practice. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, our booking form and our communications, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. Accountability
We are responsible for the personal information under our control. You can reach our privacy contact at info@la-design.ca, by phone at +1 (416) 732-4300, or by mail at 111 Valleymede Dr, Richmond Hill, ON.

3. Why we collect it
- To respond to your request and to schedule or confirm your appointment or call
- To contact you by email and phone about your project and your appointment

- To administer our relationship with you, including contracts, invoices and records
- To meet legal and professional obligations and protect our rights

4. Your consent
When you submit the booking form and tick the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by email and by phone about your project and your appointment. If you engage us, we also rely on your agreement to collect and use the information needed to provide the services. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. - We do not buy or rent email lists, and we do not send unsolicited commercial messages.
6. Client confidentiality
If you engage us, we treat information about you and your project as confidential. We share it with engineers and other consultants only as the project requires, and ask them to keep it confidential. We do not use your project information or images in our marketing without your written permission.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, the booking form and our email, with consultants as described above, with your authorization, or where the law requires it. Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
8. Safeguards and breaches
We use reasonable physical, technical and organizational safeguards. If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.
9. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, to meet professional record-keeping and legal requirements, or to protect our rights. After that, we delete it or remove identifying details.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use essential technology to run the website, and Jetpack Stats (provided by WordPress.com) to count visits. It records information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, the referring page, language and approximate location.
