Project type
Commercial fit-outs and change of use, planned around the code
From restaurants and clinics to offices and retail units, we plan the layout, code compliance and approvals together.
Do you need this?
Changing how a space is used, for example from retail to restaurant, can trigger a building permit even without construction, because fire protection, exits, washrooms and accessibility requirements depend on use. Zoning must also permit the new use.

- Coordination with mechanical, electrical and fire protection consultants

Common questions
Before you start
Do I need a permit for cosmetic work only?
Cosmetic work usually does not, but a change of use may.
Who else needs to be involved?
Often mechanical and electrical consultants, and sometimes structural and fire protection specialists.
Can you help before I sign a lease?
Yes. A feasibility check before signing is often worth it.
