Delivery
Structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, coordinated with the design
Engineering from affiliated firms or your own engineer, coordinated with our drawings so the building works as one set.
Do you need this?
Many projects need engineers: structural for beams, foundations and openings; mechanical for heating, ventilation and plumbing; electrical for power and lighting; sometimes civil, geotechnical or fire protection. We coordinate them so their drawings and ours agree.
How engineering works with us. Engineering is provided by separate, independently licensed engineering firms affiliated with LA Design Inc., or by an engineer of your choice. Each engineer works under their own agreement, professional licence and seal. We coordinate their work with the architectural drawings.

Common questions
Before you start
Who do I sign an engineering agreement with?
Each engineer contracts with you under their own agreement. We do not sign on their behalf.
Can I use my own engineer?
Yes. We will coordinate with them.
Why coordinate through the architect?
One lead reduces conflicts and missed items between disciplines.
